Chris Roberson is an American comic book writer, novelist, and publisher. He is best known for his work on the comic book series iZombie, Cinderella: From Fabletown with Love, and the novel series The Dragon's Nine Sons. He is the co-founder of the comic book publishing company Monkeybrain Comics. Roberson was born on August 23, 1979 in Oakland, California. He attended the University of California, Berkeley, where he earned a degree in English Literature. Roberson began his career in the comic book industry in 2003, writing for the series Fables. He went on to write for a number of other series, including Superman, Star Trek, and Star Wars. In 2010, he co-founded Monkeybrain Comics with Allison Baker, and the two have since published a number of successful titles, including High Crimes, Edison Rex, and Bandette. Roberson has also written a number of novels, including the Dragon's Nine Sons series, the Paragaea series, and the novelization of the video game Halo: Reach. He has also written a number of short stories, which have been published in various anthologies. Roberson currently lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife and two children.

After starting center fielder Aaron Rowand crashed into the outfield wall at Citizens Bank Park on May 11, 2006, Roberson was called up to play the center field position, along with Shane Victorino. Roberson made his major league debut on May 12, 2006, against the Cincinnati Reds.
Roberson graduated from El Cerrito High School in El Cerrito in 1997, and attended both Contra Costa College and Feather River College. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 9th round of the 2001 MLB June Amateur Draft.
