Barry Manilow is an American singer-songwriter, musician, arranger, producer, and actor. He is best known for his hit singles "Mandy", "Can't Smile Without You", and "Copacabana (At the Copa)". He has sold more than 80 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling artists of all time. Manilow began his career as a commercial jingle writer in the 1960s, and became a recording artist in the 1970s. His first album, Barry Manilow, was released in 1973. He has since released more than 40 albums, including the multi-platinum hits This One's for You, Even Now, and Ultimate Manilow. He has also written and produced several Broadway musicals, including Copacabana and Harmony. Manilow has won numerous awards, including a Grammy Award, an Emmy Award, and a Tony Award. He has also been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Hit Parade Hall of Fame. He is currently touring the world, performing his greatest hits.
